Regents Theological College offers part time and full time PhD and MPhil supervision. The programmes are dedicated to providing research opportunities that facilitate critical reflection upon Christian beliefs and praxis. Appropriate topics for supervision are currently limited to the areas of Biblical Studies and Theology, as well as Pentecostal and Charismatic history, beliefs and praxis. Doctoral studies are validated by the University of Chester.

A 100,000 word thesis (PhD)
A 50,000 word thesis (MPhil)

Entry qualifications
Masters degree, preferably in Theology, with a minimum grade of Merit (60%).

English language requirement
TOEFL: a minimum score of 560 with a TWE written score of not less than 4,220 computer-based or IELTS: a minimum score of 6.5

Maximum Time Permitted for Completion
PhD Full time: Four years PhD Part time: Seven years MPhil Full time: Four years MPhil Part time: Six years Earlier submission is permitted subject to satisfaction of minimum registration periods.

Restrictions
The college is unable to issue CAS numbers for UK visa applications to international students.
