New Director of Post Graduate Studies appointed

Regents has recently announced the appointment of Dr Mathew Clark as Director of Post-Graduate studies. Mathew is from Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was previously Head of the New Testament Department at Auckland Park Theological Seminary for the last 23 years. Mathew and his wife Val, have moved from South Africa and are now living on the college campus.

Commenting on the appointment, College Principal and Elim’s National Director of Training, Nigel Tween said, “We are delighted to welcome Mathew and Val to Regents. Mathew will have a pivotal role in developing our Masters programme, and we were pleased to attract someone with a long track record in teaching Pentecostal theology. He will be a real asset to the teaching team here at Regents.”

Mathew’s passion is teaching with key areas of interest around Pentecostal theology in a cross cultural and contemporary context as well as studies in the epistles of Paul. In addition to heading up the post-graduate programme, Mathew will also be spending significant time lecturing to undergraduate students.

Mathew takes over the role from Keith Warrington, who was recently appointed Vice Principal of the College and Director of Doctoral Research.
