Career Opportunities with Regents at new Malvern location announced

Regents moves to its prestigious new location in Malvern, Worcestershire during the summer this year. As this process takes place, a number of exciting new career opportunities are becoming available. 

Opportunities available:

College Librarian - Responsibility for management and development of the College’s 50,000 book and journal library facility including purchase of new stock

Faculty Administrator – Reporting to the Director of Under-graduate studies, the role handles all aspects of the management of students’ academic work.

Admissions & Operations Officer – Working closely with the General Manager, this role has responsibility for the pro-active management of student intake and assists with marketing activities including exhibitions.

Conference Manager - Responsibility for the development of conference business including church, corporate and private guest bookings and all practical day to day running of the conference operations.

Finance Officer – Responsible for liaison with students over fees, dealing with the student loans company and the day to day management of the College’s budget.

House-keeping Manager – Involves the management of a team of staff to handle all aspects of room preparation for conference facilities, bedrooms, classrooms and offices including all cleaning and laundry services.

Retail Manager – Handles all retail operations including management of College bookshop and general store, coffee facilities and vending operations. Includes all purchasing requirements.

Facilities Manager – A hands on maintenance role which ensures the smooth operation of all premises on site and deals with day to day maintenance and decoration. The role is wide-ranging in its scope and includes management of maintenance contracts.

Catering Manager – Responsible for leading a team of chefs and catering assistants to produce high quality food for customers on a daily basis and the organisation of the kitchen and catering contracts.

Head Chef – Lead role in producing tasty and nutritious meals for students, conference guests and other customers and the training of catering staff in quality meal delivery.

Candidates would ideally have experience and/or qualifications of working in the relevant academic or business environment. For all roles, candidates will be required to have a strong customer service focus and a positive, can do attitude to the resolution of problems. Ability to work as part of a team will be essential along with the ability to manage a departmental operation.
