Meet the Teams Academic Administration
John Owen BA (Hons) MTh
Academic Registrar
John has a degree in Accounting and Finance, and worked in Chartered Accountancy before diversifying into Academic Administration. In 1999 he became the pastor of the New Frontiers Church in South Manchester, joining Regents in 2004 on a part-time basis to complete the MTh programme, combining his role at the College with that of Senior Pastor. In 2014 he became Academic Registrar at Regents, over-seeing the quality assurance obligations, and the overall management of the academic processes.
Sally Gibbs Cert Ed (Oxon)
Librarian
Sally is a trained schoolteacher who returned to librarianship when Regents Theological College moved to Malvern in 2009. She adores books, for both reading and research, and in helping students and tutors find what they need for their studies. She sees her role as pivotal to the life and work of Regents, in facilitating students as they seek to ground their input from lectures into their own directed or research study. Her personal research interest is currently in Lady Howard de Walden, who had the house in which the Elim International Centre and Regents Theological College are now based. The Library itself is in, what was, Lady Howard de Walden’s stables.
Rebekah Marshall BA (Hons)
PA to the Principal and Vice-Principal
Having trained as a secretary, Rebekah studied for a BA (Hons) in English. With a background in the Health and Education sectors, she joined Regents in 2014 to become PA to the Principal and Vice Principal.
Colette Hanna BA, MA
![Colette gained a BA (Hons) in Theology and Christian Ministry in 1997 through the University of Manchester, after which she joined a blue chip insurance company where she worked for eight years as an Account Executive and Team Manager. In 2006 she gained an MA in Biblical Interpretation from The London School of Theology. With her husband Liam, she served at The Peter Achimugu College of Theology [PACT] in Kogi State, Nigeria, where she lectured on the Background to the New Testament, the Pastoral Letters, and Pastoral Counselling. Whilst at PACT, she also taught cultural subjects including HIV and Aids Awareness, and the Role of Women in Ministry. Richard Allsopp, BA, MA, D.Phil, CPhys
Database Administrator
Richard has been Database Administrator at Regents since 2010. He is a highly qualified Chartered Physicist, with over 20 years’ experience in software development for the analysis and interpretation of still and video imagery content, and the visualisation of large datasets. He gained his BA (Hons) in Physics and his D.Phil in Solid State Physics from the University of Oxford specialising in Electron Nuclear Double Resonance (ENDOR).
