Dr Clay has taught widely in the fields of Old Testament Studies, New Testament Studies, Hermeneutics, Biblical Languages. His current teaching includes:

• Old Testament Prophetic Literature: Theologies and Applications
• God and Israel in Biblical Theology
• Interpreting Biblical Hebrew
• Biblical Interpretation (Old Testament and Biblical Theology components)
• Thinking Theologically (Biblical Studies and Empirical Research components)
• Gospels and Acts (Peter in the Book of Acts component)
• Church and Mission (Biblical Perspectives on Mission component)

Dr Clay is available to supervise research in the areas of Old Testament Studies, Biblical Theology, Hermeneutics, Contemporary Applications of Scripture.

Old Testament Theology and Literature (especially Torah and Latter Prophets), Biblical Theology, Theological Reception of Scripture, Theology of Martin Luther, Theology of Gerhard Tersteegen.

Dr Clay sits on the editorial board of the Journal of the European Pentecostal Theological Association.
