Shelley qualified with a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from Yorkshire Ladies’ College of Higher Education and has worked extensively as a senior administrator for directors and chief executives of major public companies including Aalco plc and Meadowhall Shopping Centre. Shelley subsequently took a career break to raise her three children, living in Yorkshire, Glasgow and Cheshire, as her husband’s career developed.
She returned to work, specialising in operational and academic administration when Regents Theological College moved to Malvern in 2009, and has worked across several departments within the College and The Elim International Centre. She was appointed as Student Services Manager in 2021 to lead the expanded student services team, handling all academic, operational and customer services support for Regents’ students.
In 2022, she was also appointed as Administrator to the Principal’s Office, providing logistical and organisational support to the College Leadership Team and Principal.
In 2026, Shelley became Hospitality Manager of the Elim Conference Centre based at the Elim International Centre. Her responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of conferencing, guest and student accommodation, catering, housekeeping, and oversight of the Sugar Loaf Cafe.
