Student funding is available for Regents Undergraduate courses for both
full-time and part-time studies.

BA (Hons) in Applied Theology, with tracks in theology, church leadership, and youth ministry.
Regents Theological College offers a broad choice of options at undergraduate degree level.
Our aim is to deepen both your knowledge and understanding of God, and of scripture and doctrine, so that you can think clearly in how to apply an awareness of God’s presence in everyday settings, and through mission and ministry.
As an approved academic partner of the University of Chester, our degree programmes are in Applied Theology through which we take an active approach to learning, engaging students in placements so they can apply what they are learning in everyday life ‘ministry’ situations. Students who successfully complete the BA (Hons) in Applied Theology will be eligible for a University of Chester award.
All our undergraduate courses are open to funding, for both tuition and (means tested) maintenance loans, via the Student Loans Company, for all English, Scottish (except PT Context), Welsh and Northern Irish domicile students.
Undergraduate programmes are taught face-to-face, and we do not offer them as purely online courses. To facilitate this undergraduate students have the option of living on campus, or studying in context, whereby they stay in their home setting and visit the Malvern campus for the taught modules. This is usually for one week in every five, six times per curriculum year.
Face-to-face teaching is an essential part of the active Regents community. Being on campus, whether as a full-time ‘resident’ or context student is an important part of Regents philosophy as it enhances spiritual and academic formation, and the College goal of sharing our discipleship journey together.

At an undergraduate level, we offer two modes of learning – on campus or in context.
Campus based students live onsite, in their own studio bedsits, and are part of the larger Regents community, where we join together in everything that contributes to the Christian life. 1st and 2nd year students are fully catered for in the College dining room. In the 3rd year, students have the choice to cater for themselves or pay to eat in the College dining room.
Context based students stay within their own home, work and/or church environments, coming up to Regent’s Malvern campus to join the campus-based students in the modules associated with the programme and course they are on.
Typically that is six modules per year, with each module being taught over four days (Tuesday – Friday). They then return home to complete the assessment for that module over the following four weeks.
Context based students can book into our conference centre (at preferential rates) for the days they are onsite, with a choice of B&B or full catering in the College dining room.
Whilst on campus, context students fully engage with all the activities campus-based students enjoy, and are a very welcome part of the Regents community.
