Undergraduate Courses

BA (Hons) in Applied Theology, (tracks in theology, church leadership, and youth ministry), and Applied Theology and Performing Arts.

Regents Theological College offers a broad choice of options at undergraduate degree level.

Our aim is to deepen both your knowledge and understanding of God, and of scripture and doctrine, so that you can think clearly in how to apply an awareness of His presence to everyday settings, and through mission and ministry.

As an approved academic partner of the University of Chester, our degree programmes are in Applied Theology – we take an active approach to learning, engaging students in placements so they can apply what they have learnt in everyday life ‘ministry’ situations. Students who successfully complete the BA (Hons) in Applied Theology will be eligible for a University of Chester award.

All of undergraduate courses are open to funding, for both tuition and (means tested) maintenance loans, via the Student Loans Company, for all English, Scottish (except PT Context), Welsh and Northern Irish domicile students.

At an undergraduate level, we offer two modes of learning – on campus or in context.

Campus based students live onsite, in their own studio bedsits (all are en-suite), and are part of the larger Regents community, where we join together in everything that contributes to the Christian life. 1st and 2nd year students are fully catered for in the College dining room. In the 3rd year, students cater for themselves.

Context based students stay within their own home, work and/or church environments, coming up to Regents Malvern campus to study with the campus-based students those modules associated with the programme they are on.
This is typically six modules per year, with each module being taught over four days (Tuesday – Friday). Context based students can book into our conference centre (at preferential rates) for the days they are onsite, with a choice of B&B or full catering in the College dining room.
Whilst on campus, context students can fully engage with all the activities campus-based students enjoy.
