Thank you for considering Regents Theological College as the place for you to study theology.
Regents Theological College is the national training centre for the Elim Pentecostal Churches, where we welcome students from
all denominations, church backgrouds and Christian communities.
We are a community of likeminded Christians, committed to following the Word of God, from a personal, academic and spiritual point-of-view.
We have a strong discipleship focus in that we are all moving forward by listening to God, through God’s Word, through prayer
and through the community that is Regents Theological College.
Please be aware, our Induction Week is in the week commencing 7 September 2026. The first undergraduate module will also start
during that week, and continue into the following week, from 14 September.
It is mandatory that you attend all the Induction Week activities and the first module from 7 – 18 September inclusive.
We regret we will not be able to accept your application in the first instance if you are unable to attend both those weeks.
As we do not offer distance learning or recorded sessions, you are also required to attend each of the focused teaching weeks
throughout the academic year.
Further details of Induction Week will follow once you have accepted your place.
A late application may mean your access to the Regents academic portal and online study systems are delayed for your first week.
Regents considers all applications on an individual basis, and we are committed to supporting you throughout
the application process, and during the interview stage.
Alongside our academic requirements, you will need to have competent IT skills,
and a robust knowledge of the Bible and the Christian faith in order to access the course at the level you are applying for.
Please also provide a Minister or church leaders reference as part of your application,
and show that you are able to cover the cost of the course either through Student Finance, or other personal means.
We are sorry to say that we currently do not offer bursaries, but should you need help, we are very happy to advise you about
the finance opportunities open to you.
Having completed an application, and as part of the interview process, or through new circumstances,
students often feel another undergraduate course would be more applicable; please don’t worry, it is always possible to change your mind.
However, changing from full-time to part-time or vice versa, could have an implication on the student funding you have applied for.
Most of all, we look forward to working with you as you apply to study at Regents Theological College, and to partnering with you
as you study theology. We also look forward to helping you as you go beyond Regents, into your future path.

** As part of the application process, you will need to complete the self-declaration form. The application process cannot be completed until this form has been returned. All students are also required to undertake a DBS check but depending on the nature of the information disclosed in the self-declaration form, Regents reserves the right to require you to undertake a DBS check before an offer of a place can be confirmed. Moreover, failure to declare a conviction etc. that is subsequently revealed on a DBS check may also affect your offer of a place.
