Mick has a BTEC distinction in Computing and Information Systems through Loughborough Technical College.

During the 1990’s he was a Senior IT Consultant at PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) leading development teams designing, developing and implementing systems for small businesses. He also worked on finance and budgeting systems for the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

He studied for his BA (Hons) in Applied Theology at Redcliffe College, Gloucester. His 2001 dissertation was entitled ‘Cyberspace: a valid and effective evangelistic medium?’

He was a missionary with Reach Beyond, supporting their office IT systems and radio ministries in the UK, Sub-Saharan Africa and North Africa, and the Middle-East, and helped to start the International Conference on Computing and Mission in Europe, an annual conference that brings together missionaries working in technical roles.

He became a Minister in Training (MIT) at Gloucester Elim in 2012, and subsequently Senior Minister at Eldad Elim in Guernsey.

In 2022 he moved back to the UK and became co-lead pastor of Bicester Elim with his wife Heather, who was ordained in 2019. At the same time, he took on the role of Elim Training Coordinator which included managing the online training platform for the Elim Pentecostal movement.

He loves to explore and implement how technology can be used to its fullest extent to help propagate the gospel.
