Dr Tim Walsh

Tim has been associated with Regents Theological College for a number of years, and brings considerable experience in both the academic and administrative worlds of higher education.
At Regents his roles have included Post-doctoral Research Assistant, lecturer in the History and Spirituality of Pentecostal Issues, and as a lecturer in historical, theological, and doctrinal subjects. He has also worked with students with special access arrangements who required additional support to enable them to complete exams and assessments, and as an approved supervisor at the Graduate School of the University of Chester.
His interests lie in books and music, and particularly nineteenth-century crime fiction, with writers such as Arthur Conan Doyle and Wilkie Collins. He is also fascinated by the history of the Spanish Civil War, is “a devotee of Italian Westerns” from the 1960s and ‘70s, and a fan of film directors Alfred Hitchcock and John Carpenter. His musical tastes range from baroque to the post-punk period, including the pioneers of electronic music such as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, and Ultravox.
He enjoys walking in the Lake District with his wife, who works in primary education.
