I left Brazil in 2000 having received a word from God to ‘go from your country, to the land I will show you’ (Genesis 12:1 and Hebrews 11:8). I felt I needed to learn English, so that’s where I headed; and God blessed me with even more than I asked for, giving me the opportunity to study at Regents from 2002 to 2005.
Since 2007 I have been in Spain ministering to local people, as well the migrants from North Africa, Eastern Europe and the Americas. I have also been involved in church-planting in southern Spain.
I felt some time ago that my time in Spain was coming to an end, as God began to stir up my heart for Israel, which is where I believe I am being led next. This year, I will be in Brazil with my family, and in Israel to volunteer at the Garden Tomb, and investigate other long-term opportunities.
